Tools für Data analysis

Generates people analytics reports from employee data: headcount snapshots, voluntary and involuntary attrition, diversity metrics, spans of control and flight risk, with findings and recommendations for leadership. Needs an uploaded employee CSV or a connected HRIS. Official from Anthropic.

Data analysis plugin: writes queries in each SQL dialect, explores datasets, runs statistical tests, charts with Python and builds interactive HTML dashboards, then reviews methods and conclusions before sharing. Connects to Snowflake, BigQuery and other warehouses. Official from Anthropic.

Anthropic's official data skill that guides agents to write, translate and optimize SQL across Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, PostgreSQL and other warehouse dialects, including CTEs, window functions and analytical aggregations.

Google's official skill that queries account data through the Google Ads MCP server to diagnose conversion drops, falling leads and impression share lost to bids, budgets or ad rank. Needs a Google Ads account, API credentials (developer token and OAuth) and Python 3.12.

Manages BigQuery datasets, tables and jobs with the bq and gcloud CLIs, runs SQL queries and loads data, with references for client libraries, MCP and Terraform. Google's official skill; requires a Google Cloud project.

Official Lark (Feishu) skill for Lark Base: create tables, add fields, add and edit records, build views, forms and dashboards, or apply ready-made templates, good for sign-ups, asset registers and trackers. Needs lark-cli on a machine with Node.js, plus app setup and authorization.

Official Lark (Feishu) skill to create and edit Lark Sheets: formulas, charts and pivot tables, conditional formatting and filters, plus import and export of local Excel/CSV, for summaries, budgets and reports. Needs lark-cli on a machine with Node.js, plus app setup and authorization.

Alibaba's open-source offline data sync tool: JSON job configs batch-sync between heterogeneous sources like MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Hive, HDFS and MaxCompute, run with python datax.py. Needs JDK 1.8+ and Python; download and unpack the official toolkit.

Command-line framework for warehouse modeling and ELT transformations: write models in SQL and let dbt handle dependencies, data tests and documentation. v2 is rewritten in Rust as a single binary. Maintained by dbt Labs; needs a data warehouse connection.

MiniMax's official Excel skill: read, analyze, create, edit and validate xlsx files and fix broken formulas. Edits existing files at the XML level to keep formatting, formulas and pivot tables; writes results as formulas with finance-style color coding. Needs Python (pandas); LibreOffice optional.

PostgreSQL command-line client with smart autocompletion and syntax highlighting. Compatible with psql environment variables, and -c runs a statement and exits, so agents can query databases non-interactively.

Simon Willison's LLM CLI and Python library: call OpenAI, Claude, Gemini and local models from the terminal, with conversations logged to SQLite automatically, plus embeddings, structured extraction, tool calling and a plugin system.

MySQL terminal client with smart autocompletion and syntax highlighting, also compatible with MariaDB and TiDB. Supports --execute and batch mode with CSV or table output, so agents can run SQL directly.

Publishes SQLite databases as browsable, queryable web pages and JSON APIs, with SQL queries, metadata and plugins, and deploys to Cloud Run and other platforms with datasette publish. Great for data exploration and data journalism. Needs Python 3.10+.

Reads the exact position of every character, line and table cell in digital PDFs: the CLI exports layout-preserving text or CSV/JSON details, and the Python API extracts tables and form fields, ideal for invoices, statements and reports. Runs locally with Python; scans need OCR first.

Universal psql-style SQL command line: one tool to connect to PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, SQL Server, Oracle and dozens of other SQL and NoSQL databases, with support for copying data between databases.

Processes CSV, TSV, JSON and other structured data like awk, sed, cut, join and sort, but by field name, for cleaning, aggregation, format conversion and pretty-printing. The command is mlr; written in Go with no runtime dependencies.

Linter and formatter for 20+ SQL dialects that auto-fixes most issues and handles Jinja templating and dbt projects (dbt needs a plugin), suited to warehouse code review and CI.

Terminal tool for exploring and wrangling tabular data: opens dozens of formats including CSV, JSON, Excel and SQLite for filtering, sorting, pivots and frequency counts. --batch mode replays actions headlessly or converts file formats.

Publication-quality matplotlib plotting skill from a Yale PhD student: bar charts, trends, heatmaps and multi-panel figures with consistent fonts, colors and export settings, plus real plotting scripts from papers published in venues like Nature Machine Intelligence. Needs Python.

Query cloud resources and SaaS APIs live with SQL: plugins map AWS, Azure, GCP, GitHub, Kubernetes and other services to tables you can select from directly, no ETL needed. A single binary with Postgres built in.

Creates, edits and validates reproducible Python and SQL Jupyter notebooks: organizes cells as reports or tutorials, checks conclusions against actual output and reruns top to bottom before handoff. Maintained by OpenAI in the Data Analytics plugin of openai/plugins.

OpenAI's official Codex plugin for answering product and business questions with data: metric anomaly diagnosis, KPI design, market sizing, dashboards and reports, notebooks and data quality checks. Connects to data warehouses and BI tools.

OpenAI's official Codex plugin with about 50 skills that route questions to genetics, omics, pathway, protein structure, chemistry and clinical evidence sources, can split the work across parallel subagents, and synthesize sourced conclusions.
