Anthropic's official small-business skill for bills: reads vendor, amount and due date from email, PDFs or photos, dedupes, codes to accounts, matches POs and drafts a payment plan. Posting and paying each need approval; it never auto-pays. Works with QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite or file export.

Helps small business owners collect overdue payments: finds overdue invoices in QuickBooks, Xero, PayPal or Stripe and drafts reminder emails with a tone suited to each customer's payment history, sent only after your approval. Without a connection, upload an AR aging CSV. By Anthropic.

30/60/90-day cash flow forecasts for small businesses: reads receivables, payables and collections from your accounting system, PayPal or Stripe (or an uploaded CSV), gives a forecast with ranges and risk flags, and exports to Excel. Have an accountant review. Official from Anthropic.

Tax prep for US small business owners: estimates quarterly taxes from QuickBooks, Xero or an uploaded P&L, and at year end lists contractors paid over $600 for 1099-NEC, flagging missing W-9s, for your accountant. US federal only; books must be closed. Not tax advice. From Anthropic.

Month-end reconciliation for small businesses: matches QuickBooks or Xero line by line against PayPal, Stripe and Shopify payouts, flags likely duplicates and missing receipts, explains the P&L in plain terms and exports a close package (Excel and PDF). CSVs work too. Official from Anthropic.

Lets agents read and write Xero accounting data: contacts, chart of accounts, invoices, payments, journals and reports such as profit and loss; payroll queries work only for NZ and UK organisations. Maintained by Xero; create a Custom Connection in the developer portal.

Xero's official CLI (alpha): lets AI query and enter contacts, invoices, quotes, payments, bank transactions and manual journals, export invoice PDFs, and run P&L, balance sheet and trial balance reports for multiple orgs. Needs a Xero account and OAuth app; have an accountant review.

Apideck's official MCP: one unified API to read and write invoices, ledgers and reports in QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite and other accounting systems, plus HR, CRM and ATS data. Needs a paid Apideck account (30-day trial), API key and App ID, with your systems connected. An accountant should review.
